Tim Burton Celebration at Burbank Film Festival – Awards Show Gala
The Burbank International Film Festival is proud to announce that the Burbank City Council has declared that Sunday, Sept. 24, 2023, will be “Tim Burton Day” in recognition of the inspirational filmmaker who was born and raised in the city. Tim Burton will attend BIFF’s 2023 closing night awards gala at the Burbank Marriott Convention Center to accept the honor and take part in a life/career retrospective for The Hollywood Reporter.
Burton’s relationship with BIFF began in 2022 when he agreed to lend his name to The Tim Burton Visionary Award. This special award will annually recognize a local filmmaker who shows unique imagination and creativity.
Red carpet cocktail reception followed by delicious 3-course dinner & Awards Show honoring industry icons & film festival winners. Upscale Dress requested: Suits or Tuxedos for Men / Cocktail Dresses or Evening Gowns for Ladies!
