Library: The James Webb Telescope – Seeing the End of the Dark Age

The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) is being developed in coordination with NASA, the European Space Agency, and the Canadian  Space Agency. Currently being assembled by Northrup Grumman Aerospace Systems in Redondo Beach, JWST will follow Hubble as the next generation space telescope. Scientists will use the large format images from the telescope’s Near-Infrared Camera (NIRCam) to obtain the deepest images of the universe ever obtained, peering back through time 13.5 billion to the time after the Big Bang when the first stars and galaxies…
