Plays Wanted for Conundrum New Works Festival – Deadline June 8

For our 3rd annual New Works Festival, we’ll be producing 4 full-length productions from local LA playwrights!
Our New Works Festival produces short plays by local writers and directors from marginalized communities. Each play is themed around social justice issues that are currently present in our community. By producing these plays in Burbank, we seek to amplify voices that are often unheard.
Please submit your full-length play to bryan@conundrumtheatreco.com with the subject line “New Works 2026 Submission [Last Name]”
Plays must be a minimum of 60 minutes, either one or two acts. The play’s subject matter should revolve around social justice issues that are currently present in our community. By producing these plays in Burbank, we seek to amplify voices that are often unheard.
Submission deadline closes June 8th by 11:59PM Pacific Standard Time. Scripts will be chosen by the beginning of July.
We will be looking for directors, designers, and actors at a later date.
