Celebrate the music of the icon on her birthday with Kelly Brandeburg and her Award-Winning Barbra Streisand Cabaret Tribute.
GMT is thrilled to welcome back Kelly Brandeburg, a powerhouse singer and member of our theatre family, for a one-night-only performance of her acclaimed cabaret tribute, My Favorite Barbra: A Cabaret Tribute to the Songs of Streisand, marking its Los Angeles premiere.
Winner of the 2015 BroadwayWorld Bay Area Award for Best Solo Show, My Favorite Barbra has since delighted thousands from California to New York City.
Brandeburg, a songstress and a ‘Funny Girl’ in her own right, captivated audiences as ‘Copper Penny’ in GMT’s production of The Root Beer Bandits in 2019 and 2021.
The evening is a journey through Streisand’s illustrious career, with Brandeburg sharing rare anecdotes and stories while performing beloved hits, including selections from Funny Girl, Yentl, and chart-topping singles including “You Don’t Bring Me Flowers,” “Evergreen,” and “The Way We Were.” The Los Angeles premiere will feature Music Director and Pianist Carl Pantle, with Kaveh Rastegar on bass and Greg Sadler on drums.
