LA Women’s Theatre Festival – Best of the Fest

RECIPIENT: BURBANK COMMUNITY ARTS GRANT
Tickets at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/from-best-of-the-fest-tickets-1661531227629
Early Bird tickets are on sale now through September 30 for LAWTF’s “From Best of the Fest”, an encore presentation of standout performances from our previous festivals! You won’t want to miss this opportunity to experience the captivating and diverse work of Clarinda Ross, Sona Lewis, Liza Dealey-Thomason, and Vanessa Adams-Harris. Our illustrious co-hosts are Freda Payne and Kat Kramer.
This spectacular evening will be presented to the Burbank community at The Victory Theatre Center located at 3326 W Victory Blvd, Burbank, CA 91505 on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 8:00 p.m.
The performances include:
Vanessa Adams-Harris in Rosa Parks, an excerpt honoring the courage of the “Mother of the Civil Rights Movement.”
Liza Dealey-Thomason in Supernova, a whimsical musical journey exploring self-care and empowerment.
Sona Lewis in a dance called “Kathak.” Sona Lewis’ original Kathak dance choreography is weaved into sitar instrumental music. Sitar is traditionally played during festivals and community gatherings in Indian culture for peace, harmony and joy.
Clarinda Ross in From My Grandmother’s Grandmother Unto Me, a heartfelt piece of Appalachian storytelling spanning generations.
The Los Angeles Women’s Theatre Festival’s “FROM BEST OF THE FEST” promises to be an exceptional evening of theatre, music and dance. Tickets are $20 for the Early Bird price or $25 starting October 1st.
