It’s a Wonderful Life (Live Radio Play!) at the Garry Marshall Theatre & On LiveStream (w/ Mark Hamill!)

The Ed Asner Family Center is delighted to announce the return of its beloved holiday tradition with the 4th Annual reading of It’s A Wonderful Life! On December 14, join us at the Garry Marshall Theatre or stream from home as the cast of SpongeBob SquarePants, led by the incomparable Tom Kenny, breathes new life into this holiday classic in a vibrant radio play format.
This year’s show features an incredible lineup of special guest stars, including the legendary Mark Hamill, TV favorite Tom Bergeron, comedian Ron Funches (Trolls, Inside Out 2), and the talented Joey King (The Act, The Kissing Booth series).
Presented as a “Live Radio Play,” this one-of-a-kind performance combines the charm of classic radio theater with the joy of the holiday season, with all performers live on stage. It’s a celebration of the values and legacy of our namesake, Ed Asner, brought to life by an extraordinary cast.
Proceeds from this unforgettable evening directly support The Ed Asner Family Center’s transformative programs, including The Academy, a full-day program for adults, and The Dating Spectrum, a groundbreaking relationship course for autistic individuals, created and taught by autistic instructors. Together, these programs promote connection, growth, and inclusion for our community.
