Cindy & the Disco Ball at The Garry Marshall Theatre
Cindy & The Disco Ball: The Musical time-travels back nearly fifty years to a decade that was dy-no-mite! Colorful fashion, sensational songs, and disco dance moves bring an all-new Cinderella story to life. This funky, fresh take on the famous Cinderella story whisks us back to sun-kissed 1976. Cindy & The Disco Ball tells the story of Cindy Fontaine, a teenager who is trying to survive high school after her father does not return home from Vietnam. When the school district threatens to cut funding for the arts, Pali High comes undone. But with the help of a fabulously magical Soul Sister, this bunch of superfly high schoolers stand up for their rights and their right to party!
