Celebrate our first-ever Champion of Education!

We are honored to present the first-ever Champion of Education Award to UMe Credit Union in recognition of its longstanding and unwavering support of Burbank’s educational community.

Since its founding in 1940 as the Burbank Teachers Federal Credit Union, established by educators from the Burbank Unified School District, UMe has demonstrated a deep and enduring commitment to advancing public education. Over the decades, the organization has evolved into a vital partner, continuously championing initiatives that enhance learning opportunities for students across the district.

UMe’s recent 15 for 15 campaign, which pledges to match member contributions to the Burbank Arts & Education Foundation up to $15,000 annually, exemplifies the organization’s dedication to fostering educational excellence and community engagement. In recognition of its profound impact and steadfast partnership, we are proud to honor UMe Credit Union with the Champion of Education Award.
