An Evening of Armenian Music And Poetry @ Lusanet

An evening of Armenian folk music & Poetry at Lusanet Collective for two night with wine & cheese and Armenian culture.

Christine Hovhanesyan is an Armenian folk artist born and raised in America. She is deeply inspired by Armenian culture and homeland. She believes folk music connects Armenians to their roots and tells the story of our heritage. She loves to be a part of telling that story with her unique voice and performance.
She studied guitar with Armen Movsisyan here in the US, and Armenian folk music with Mkhitar Kettsyan in Armenia.She had the privilege of a few musical collaborations with Gata Band, and Garegin Araqelyan in Armenia. Here in the US, She has collaborated with an American folk group called the “Folktones”.

Annette Klujian was born and raised in Iran and moved to US 2 decades ago.
Since her early childhood, She was introduced to Armenian culture and literature and started reciting and participating in poetry reciting contests.
Her most favorite Armenian poet is Baruyr Sevag, but she enjoys all Armenian writers to name a few Silva Kapoutikyan, Terian and Shiraz.
She started writing poetry when she was 11 years old and she has few poems which were published in Alik daily Armenian Newspaper in Tehran , Iran.
She continues writing in Armenian, English and Persian
