2021 Virtual Youth Art Expo!

The City of Burbank Parks & Recreation Department and Fine Arts Federation would like to once again invite you and your students to participate in the upcoming 2021 Virtual Youth Art Expo. The Youth Art Expo annually showcases the talents of Burbank youth by allowing the opportunity for them to compete and show their creativity. Last year we were able to decorate and transform the gallery into a vibrant space with an abundance of butterflies throughout the gallery submitted by each individual student who participated in the 2020 Youth Art Expo. We would like to offer this opportunity again and encourage every student to design and decorate either a planet, start, or space ship. To view last year’s Youth Art Expo Virtual Gallery visit www.burbankca.gov/yae2020.
Please note a few basic guidelines:
Artwork can be submitted:
– Digitally to cacmail@burbankca.gov (Recommended resolution: Minimum 2MB)
– Dropping it off at the Betsy Leuke Creative Arts Center during the submission period February 16 – March 12
– Artwork may be on any subject, using any medium, on quality paper, no larger than 18”x24”. Three dimensional artwork may also be submitted.
– All artwork must be properly labeled, including artist name, grade, school, teacher. Parent contact info will also be required (if teacher is submitting on behalf of students, teacher’s info is sufficient).
