SUMMARY:Virtually Burbank: How to Get the Perfect Shot (At Home)
DESCRIPTION:Join Burbank Arts for a FREE seminar with director/cinematographer Matthew Kohnen on tricks of the trade to get that perfect shot even when filming yourself at home on a less-than-perfect camera. This is the third in the Burbank Cultural Arts monthly “Virtually Burbank” series\, focused on connecting artists & community even though we may be physically apart.  Co-sponsored by New York Film Academy – www.nyfa.edu       \n  \n  \n\nMatthew Kohnen earned his MFA from USC. As a Cinematographer\, he has shot commercials\, music videos\, and short films featured in Seattle\, Slamdance \, and Sundance Film Festivals. \nHis first feature as Director\, Wasting Away/Aaah! Zombies!! won the Audience Award at Screamfest\, Best Picture at Sitges International\, Audience Award/Best Screenplay/ at the Zompire Genre Fest\, Best Picture at the Festivus Film Festival\, and has been the hit of many others including London Sci Fi and Lund Fantastik Festival\, and was named one of the “Top 50 Zombie Movies” by Bloody Disgusting.
 \nHis second feature\, The Funeral Guest\, Premiered at the Shanghai Film Festival\, won Best Director/Best Actress at LA Indy Festival\, and Best Picture at Galway Film Festival. Both are currently on Prime.
