SUMMARY:Sammy Pace Art Exhibit @ The Martial Arts Museum
DESCRIPTION:In the 1970s\, Sammy Pace was one of the premier fighters on the tournament circuit. A member of the Black Karate Federation (BKF)\, Sammy tore up the competition and won championship after championship. But Sammy had another passion as well\, art. Through the years\, Sammy became known as one of the most-after artists in the world. His work has appeared throughout the Rapid Transit Authority\, public events\, the Playboy Jazz Festival\, the Watts Tower Festival\, and many more. He has done artwork for such notables as Nancy Wilson\, Poncho Sanchez\, Eddie Palmarie\, and more. This will be a spectacular evening as his artwork will be spread around the museum\, plus a time on stage with a one-on-one Q&A talk about his work and to top it off\, an auctioning of one of his pieces to support the museum.
