DESCRIPTION:“Who would know Warner LeMenager better than he?\nI Warner am a photographer with a background in many forms of presentation\, even the study of watercolor at the Art Center. But now I’ve evolved into an artist of photo rendering. I am also a student and collector of art\, with the majority of my collection being Japanese Woodblock prints.\nAs many others have done\, they explore presenting their photo work as a Picasso or a Dali or even more to my liking Atget. Then others strive for the perfection of Adams or Weston. But I find if we are to grab one artist I strive to emulate with camera skills that must be the subtleness of Monet.\nI am at the twilight of my artistic career and now pursue creating work others would like to own and hang in a place they are able to view daily.\nI was born in Cicero\, an Italian neighborhood of Chicago\, but left at a very young age and moved to Long Beach\, California where I was raised.\nI didn’t discover Italy until I was in my sixties and have since spent as much time as possible there photographing the beauty and uniqueness of its culture and architecture. DESCRIPTION:This debut exhibition is a first-time glimpse into a treasure trove of works produced from 1972 to present\, curated by C. Phillip Tubert\, the artist’s son. Selected pieces include oil and acrylic paintings\, sculptures\, drawings\, and written expression. Myriam [Jeinson] Tubert was born on February 28\, 1931\, in Córdoba\, Argentina from a very early age she had an extraordinary penchant and natural talent for literature\, theater\, and art. Although she never continued school after 6th grade due to a nearly fatal illness\, her strong literary and autodidactic nature propelled her into an early life of theater. It wasn’t until years after marriage\, two children\, emigration to the United States in 1959\, and a third child\, that Myriam began her focus on fine art. \nMyriam’s creative pursuits have always been personal\, emanating from a rich inner world driven purely by her curiosity and passion for intellectual exploration and the creation of art. Myriam’s art is untethered\, occurring organically\, through an idiosyncratic lens\, and originating from her inquisitive and expansive spirit.\nThe individual art pieces and writings contained in this exhibition represent over 50 years of intimately meaningful work. SUMMARY:Queen Nation at the Starlight Bowl
DESCRIPTION:QUEEN NATION – A TRIBUTE to the music of queen\nQueen Nation is an amazingly accurate tribute to a throwback 70s-80s Queen concert. The band was formed in 2004 by LA based music agency DMHE. \nQueen Nation is the West Coast’s longest running most authentic fully costumed re- creation of a Vintage Queen concert. The show consists of four musicians who all sing and perform in character and in period costumes while playing live note-for-note renditions of Classic Queen songs. Featured front man vocalist Gregory Finsley who is an amazing singer with an uncanny tone that matches the late great Freddie Mercury to a tee . Gregory also is an excellent concert trained pianist which allows him to accurately recreate what Freddie Mercury magically did live on stage in Queen’s original four piece lineup. \nQueen Nation has been crowned by their loyal legions of fans as “The Peoples Choice Tribute To Queen Champions” and rightly so because arguably they are one of the hardest working tribute bands in the US. Their Pollstar averages are at: 1\,600 +  tickets and over $35K gross. They have also been honored to recently be inducted into the California Music Hall Of Fame’s inaugural class and voted “The Best Live Band” at the VCMA’s. \nTHE K-TEL ALL STARS\nThe decade of the 1970’s generated some of the greatest music ever written.
