Phillip Tubert\, the artist’s son. Selected pieces include oil and acrylic paintings\, sculptures\, drawings\, and written expression. Myriam [Jeinson] Tubert was born on February 28\, 1931\, in Córdoba\, Argentina from a very early age she had an extraordinary penchant and natural talent for literature\, theater\, and art. Although she never continued school after 6th grade due to a nearly fatal illness\, her strong literary and autodidactic nature propelled her into an early life of theater. It wasn’t until years after marriage\, two children\, emigration to the United States in 1959\, and a third child\, that Myriam began her focus on fine art. \nMyriam’s creative pursuits have always been personal\, emanating from a rich inner world driven purely by her curiosity and passion for intellectual exploration and the creation of art. Myriam’s art is untethered\, occurring organically\, through an idiosyncratic lens\, and originating from her inquisitive and expansive spirit.\nThe individual art pieces and writings contained in this exhibition represent over 50 years of intimately meaningful work.
