DESCRIPTION:Angel City Brass Club is proud to present this FREE concert featuring the underrepresented and disenfranchised. Unsung Voices will feature a selection of the most important composers who were nearly forgotten to history. \nAngel City Brass Club (ACBC) is a small brass ensemble in the Los Angeles area. Its members are professional musicians and educators with extensive performance experience and advanced degrees in music. They enjoy playing music of varying styles\, from classical to pop and jazz\, and performing for the LA community. Experience chamber music as it was intended.  \nThis program is supported in part by a Community Arts Grant from the City of Burbank.

Each BackStory begins with a title — a classic play or film — and ends somewhere unexpected. \nWriters use that title as a jumping-off point. They may tell a personal story sparked by its themes. They may write in the voice of a character and reveal what happened before the curtain rose. Or they may simply riff on the words themselves. Whatever the approach\, BackStory has been — consistently — one of the most fascinating and eclectic evenings the Victory has to offer. \nAll shows at 7:30 PM Pacific · Tickets $10 at the door.
